Yin Yoga focuses on enhancing flexibility in the joints through long-held stretches. Serving as a perfect balance to Yang (muscle engaging activities), this series of passive poses helps to ease and stretch our connective tissue. Softening the denser joints of the hips, spine and lower back promotes flexibility. Yin Yoga tradition explores passive stretches, breath awareness and an overall meditative experience.
